-DETRÁS DEL MIXER (por Androide Azul FK_R2):
Hace menos de 20 años hubiera sido imposible imaginarse a Disc Jockey’s (Dj’s) de la escena oscura y underground amenizando las incansables noches. Hoy en día esto es una realidad, e incluso hay jornadas dedicadas exclusivamente a uno o más Dj’s en especial, los cuales hacen gala de su gallardía y se proclaman como el alma de la fiesta, pero, ¿qué hay detrás de tan peculiares anfitriones?
Es digno de mencionarse el reventón DJ Fest del 27 de octubre, que se enfoca más a la profesionalización del Dj en la escena subterránea, principalmente electrónica, organizado por AK_47, y que en su primera emisión cuenta con la participación de S.A.D.E.S, D97, AK47, Polo (Amduscia) Joyce, Stan (Cinema Beat), Track-Thor, Marco (C-lekktor), G:e:i:n, XL2C, Eric Ghotam, Ultraviolex, CAS y Horacio.
-ZAPATOS VACÍOS (por Alfonso Franco):
¿Cuántos muertos se necesitan para escribir un poema? Cuántos ojos de tantos colores e historias para observar que el tiempo es un espejo que se muere. Hay diferentes formas de hacer el amor y distintas señales para reconocer la agonía.
La literatura a veces es un pretexto, ¿pero no cualquier causa es buena para recordar a los caídos, para visitar a las promesas muertas en la Plaza de las Tres Culturas?
-PROTAGÓNICOS LAYHLAT (por Reyna Grifaldo):
Lahylat, una banda más cercana a los géneros del metal por su sonido, y al rock gótico por su manifestación ideológica a través de sus letras o atmósferas, inicia tocando covers de agrupaciones ochenteras, como Sisters of Mercy o Pixies, con Guillermo y Arjun al mando; aún sin el nombre actual de la banda. Cuando inician, ya con el sello de la hermandad, en el año de 1998, “no se abandona lo gótico”, precisa Guillermo, vocalista, “sino se fusiona con el metal y el rock de manera natural, cuando se unen otros integrantes con nuevas influencias musicales.” Hasta el momento, agrega siempre con una sonrisa en su rostro, “es el género que nos permite sacar ese yo brutal existente en cada uno y que sentimos la necesidad de manifestar.”
A lo largo de la historia de Lahylat la alineación ha sufrido varios cambios. Pero la actual, aseguran, se encuentra realmente cohesionada, “nos entendemos a la perfección en el escenario y detrás de él, ya somos una familia.”
-THE CURE THREE IMAGINARY BOYS (por Paulnoch):
Por la alineación de The Cure han pasado muchas personas, algunos sólo como músicos de apoyo, otros como invitados y los habituales, quienes persisten en el grupo, sin embargo, estos tres chicos son quienes iniciaron y dieron forma a esta maravillosa banda.
Ver a The Cure en vivo es una experiencia sumamente diferente. La primera visita fue todo un suceso del que se desprenden miles de historias.
Hubo quienes se fueron sin permiso, los vendieron objetos valiosos para costear el viaje, los que hicieron amigos entrañables en la aventura y los que, a pesar de todo, tuvieron que ir solos; historias de amor, deshidratados, crepés caídos, sacos perdidos, maquillaje corrido, cámaras que rompían a la hora de entrar, los chorros de agua que vertían desde el escenario para mitigar la sed de un público, que en su mayoría se aventó más de ocho horas para ver a su banda favorita. También hubo quien llegó en avión, los que pasaron doce horas en autobús o los que experimentaron una aventura diferente al viajar en tren, en donde se dice que hubo vagones llenos de fanáticos, en fin, el caso es que The Cure tocó en México el 16 de junio de 1992, en el Estadio Universitario de Nuevo León.
-SAMHAIN (por Rosa Ma. González Chávez):
Samhain coincide con la parte media, entre nuestro otoño y el invierno, y es una antigua festividad nocturna de gran importancia, tanto como lo es Walpurguis (Beltane) y Lammas, o quizás aún mayor, pues las fogatas de Samhain continúan ardiendo año tras año, desde hace siglos y siglos en las Islas Británicas y en Irlanda. Samhain significa literalmente “fin del verano” y se celebra el 31 de octubre en el hemisferio norte. Samhain, recibe también estos otros nombres: Samonis, Última Cosecha, Festival de los Muertos, Festival de Tara o Halloween (Oíche Shamhna o All Hollows Eve, a partir de la llegada del cristianismo).
Hay cierta narración que cuenta las memorias de un viajero, quien dice haber visto encenderse al mismo tiempo treinta de estas fabulosas hogueras en las cimas de los montes de Escocia en el año de 1860, y cada lumbrera estaba rodeada por un círculo de personas bailando. Al apagarse las hogueras, sus cenizas eran dispersas en los campos, para protegerlos durante el invierno y mejorar el suelo para la futura siembra.
-SÉPTIMO ARTE MACARIO (por Eli):
“... ¿hambre? si no he tenido otra cosa en toda mi vida, nos pasamos la vida muriéndonos de hambre...”, rezonga nuestro leñador a su mujer. No volverá a probar bocado hasta que se pueda comer un guajolote él solo, “... sin darle a nadie, sin aguantarme el hambre para que otros coman, aunque esos otros sean mis hijos, quedar lleno, sin hambre, sin desear otro pedazo...” Su mujer roba un guajolote y se lo guisa, “... Macario, toma, dijiste que lo querías para ti solo...”, recibe su itacate y corre a buscar un lugar idóneo en el monte para comérselo.
-FIESTA DE ÁNIMAS (por B. Estela De La Rosa):
Según la cosmovisión prehispánica, la muerte es sólo un cambio de vida. “En tu mente deben vivir los seres que estuvieron contigo, y si los recuerdas, nunca van a morir…”, dicen los concheros que danzan en un calpulli del Estado de México. Entre las celebraciones prehispánicas, la Fiesta de Ánimas o Día de Muertos, como la conocemos ahora, era la noche más importante de todas. En esta ocasión, nuestros antepasados recibían con la ofrenda, la danza y un rito de velación, a aquellos difuntos o ánimas que se hallan cerca del dios dador de vida.
-MÚSICA ELECTRÓNICA (por Irving Chávez):
De forma paradójica la palabra beat significa latido, pulso refiriéndose a la forma en que un ritmo marca, de forma constante, el tiempo o la velocidad de su ejecución. Nuestro corazón marca un beat como si la vida tuviera un ritmo al cual debemos marchar, y de pronto aparece una melodía distinta, rápida o lenta según sea el gusto, pero que suena distinto… más metálica, pero no por ello carente de emoción.
Al principio, la música electrónica fue confinada al rincón más oscuro de la llamada música convencional, y se producía con máquinas gigantes de forma experimental, de hecho la primera máquina que funcionaba con energía eléctrica y que producía sonido era el resonador helmhotz, creado por el físico alemán Hermand Ludwing Ferdinand; la máquina generaba tonos consecutivitos, que eran analizados por el Dr. Ferdinand, no se le podía llamar propiamente música, eran sonidos que nada más funcionaban como tema de estudio, pero esta situación cambio rápidamente.
-THE ADICTS:
A finales de la década de los setentas sucederían muchas cosas que dejarían profunda huella en los tiempos que estaban por venir: The Clash lanzaría su disco homónimo, grabado en tan sólo tres semanas, con influencias ska, reggae y pop; Ian Curtis cofunda la legendaria banda Joy División; en los cines se estrenan películas tan extrañas como Dune, dirigida por David Lynch, o Encuentros Cercanos del Tercer Tipo, y el Silmarilion, libro póstumo de J.R.R Tolkien es publicado. Pero también una de las últimas bandas punk aparecería para gritarle al mundo ¡Viva la revolution!
Se dice fácil, pero ser una de las últimas bandas a las que podríamos llamar punks originales no es sencillo en un mundo gris, en donde el hapy punk domina, y grupos como Panda venden millones de discos por auto denominarse punks. No es sencillo.
-LITERATURA. EVA (por Ana Soto):
Un nudo en la garganta le impedía hablar. “Una muda en el país de los ciegos”, pensó. “Si fuera tuerta al menos sería su reina”, se dijo con una sonrisa torcida. Entonces su ojo cayó y rodó por toda la habitación hasta golpear el bastón de uno de los ciegos.
-CARPE NOCTEM/ESCENASLEJANAS PRAGA (por Zanoni Blanco):
La ciudad de Praga (o Praha en checo) es en conjunto uno de los monumentos más exquisitos y de mayor tamaño que existen para la arquitectura, las grandes torres del castillo y de las catedrales que se encuentran tanto en la ciudad vieja como en la “ciudad nueva”, la plaza y su maravilloso reloj, el cementerio hebreo y el gran puente Carlos VI. La catedral de San Vito, gótica en su totalidad, la fuente de Kramer. La urbe está llena de obras de arte, lo que genera una gran atmósfera. Algunos apodos de Praga son “la ciudad de las cien cúpulas”, “la ciudad dorada”, “París de los años 20 en los años 90”, “la madre de todas las ciudades” y “el corazón de Europa.”
Luego, en 1511, se le encargó a un monje que apilara los huesos para hacer espacio, los esqueletos siguen desde entonces esperando la resurrección.
Praga es sin duda, una ciudad que ningún ser humano debe dejar de conocer. Y sobre todo, jamás dejar de regresar a ella, pues como solía decir mi abuela y no encuentro otras palabras para resumir lo que esta ciudad es: Praga es un Sueño.

Solo una queja, bueno, antes, que buena revista, trabajan bien sus articulos y los escritos son bellos, ahora si la queja: los 3 discos que han vendido con el ejemplar correpondiente, se rayan demasiado por la forma en que viene empaquetado, ¿podrian poner un poco de cuidado en eso? este tercer compilado no he podido escucharlo, y es una pena, porque me gusta lo hecho en Mexico, espero lean mi queja y lo solucionen para los subsecuentes compilados, saludos y mejoren, seguir igual es de mediocres y demuestran en cada revista que no lo son
